Within 2020 Fusion, items can be rotated to face any direction. Below are the explanations on how to rotate any item within a design.
In the Items tab, there is a section dedicated to item rotations.
There are four methods to rotate an item.
Remember, rotating an item will change the value of the respected axis it affects.
Free Rotation can also be accessed by clicking the item with the right button of the mouse and selecting Free Rotation.
Please note: While in Free Rotation mode, the user can hold the Ctrl key on the keyboard to rotate in 45 degree increments.
Clicking the Free Rotation button allows the user to do as the name suggests - rotate the item in any given direction freely.
Here we see an item in the original placement as it appears in the Plan view.
Here we see the same item being rotated using the Free Rotation button. Notice the thin blue line. This line is only visible by holding the Shift key on the keyboard simultaneously as the item is rotating. It can be used as a helpful aid to show the user the front of the item during the rotation process.
Here is a before and after example of the above in a Perspective view.
Clicking the X Axis button allows the user to rotate the item along the axis of the same name by inputting a specific value.
Once the button is clicked, this pane will appear. The user can choose from which point to rotate from and to what degree.

Clicking the Y Axis button allows the user to rotate the item along the axis of the same name by inputting a specific value.
Again, once the button is clicked, this pane will appear. The user can choose from which point to rotate from and to what degree.

Clicking the Z axis button allows the user to rotate the item along the axis of the same name by inputting a specific value.
Again, once the button is clicked, this pane will appear. The user can choose from which point to rotate from and to what degree.
