The reason this can happen is due to Universal Lighting not being linked to the main catalogue for your plan.
If your under cabinet light is added to your plan in the manner represented below, do the following to resolve this issue:
1. Click on Home Information.
In the example below, you can see that we are trying to add in a light to a PWS unit, though the height link is set to Beckermann.
This is because universal lighting will default to link with the main catalogue in the room. This is why this lighting issue can occur.
2. Highlight Universal Lighting and click on the Link button under the Height Linking section.
3. Select the catalogue you need to link.
4. When inputting the light in Elevation view, the light will now be added under the cabinet.
