Setting up a custom colour for annotation fonts
In the past, the designer was restricted to a predefined list of manual annotation colours which may not have reflected their personal taste or their company’s corporate identity. Now, in 2020 Fusion version 7, the user can create, save and recall custom colours for their manual annotation via the standard colour mixing palette, also familiar in other areas of 2020 Fusion.
1. Load 2020 Fusion and open a design.
2. Go to the Annotate tab and click 'New'
3. Click on 'Font...'
4. This will open the font window. Click the '...' to the right of the colour drop-down selection.
5. You can now select your colour by clicking on the colour palette on the right or by entering the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) values if they are known.
This will save in the custom colour and can be reused in this and any future designs. 2020 Fusion will retain the last 16 custom colours which can be retrieved from '...' to the right of the colour drop-down.
6.After clicking OK, you will return to the font window. Click OK again and this will now allow you to add the annotation in the custom colour of the room.
8. With the annotation selected, going to 'Manage' and selecting 'Save' will save the annotation to be reused in this and future designs.
