When designing a plan, the floor will automatically be placed at the height beneath the walls. If for whatever reason the floor needs to be lowered or raised it can be achieved by following these steps.
In order to lower or raise the floor follow these steps. Remember also, the value of the "Z" field within the 2020 Fusion Ribbon represents the distance of an item to the floor. The floor itself is usually placed with the value of 0. Inputting the exact numerical value here will automatically place the floor at the height representative of the new numerical value..
These steps may also be applied if the ceiling requires to be raised or lowered. The only difference is to select the ceiling in Step 1 instead of the floor.
1. Select the floor. Selecting the floor can be achieved via the Item List and have Fixtures activated or by right-clicking with the mouse on the ceiling from the Perspective view.
2. With the floor selected, go to the Items tab.
3. To raise the floor click on the upwards facing Grey Arrow and to lower the floor click on the downward-facing one.
4. Regardless of the direction selected, the Mover window will ask the user to confirm how far to move the floor. Enter the value required here and press OK to accept the changes.
