The ceiling and floor can only be selected and deleted within the Perspective view or Items List.
If you wish to delete the ceiling or floor, follow the steps below.
To delete the ceiling or floor from the Perspective view:
1. Go to Perspective view. Place your mouse cursor on the ceiling or floor. (Depending upon what you wish to delete. For this example, we will be selecting and deleting the ceiling.)
Right Click Select Ceiling
2. Once the ceiling is selected, go to Home Delete or simply press the Delete key on your keyboard.
3. This will delete the ceiling.
To delete the ceiling or floor from the Items List:
1. Go to View Items List.
(Ensure that the Fixtures is enabled in Item Type Display)
2. Select the Floor or Ceiling. (Depending upon what you wish to delete. For this example, we will be selecting and deleting the Floor.)
Once the Floor is selected, go to Home Delete or simply press the Delete key on your keyboard.
3. This will delete the floor.
