When designing a plan, the ceiling will automatically be placed at the height of the walls. If for whatever reason the walls needed to be adjusted in height to be shorter or taller, the ceiling will have to be adjusted as well.
In order to lower or raise the ceiling follow these steps. Remember also, the value of the "Z" field within the 2020 Fusion Ribbon represents the distance of an item to the floor. Inputting the exact numerical value here will automatically place the ceiling at that height.
These steps may also be applied if the floor requires to be raised or lowered. The only difference is to select the floor in Step 1 instead of the ceiling.
1. Select the ceiling. Selecting the ceiling can be achieved via the Item List and have Fixtures activated or by right-clicking with the mouse on the ceiling from the Perspective view.
2. With the ceiling selected, go to the Items tab.
3. To raise the ceiling click on the upwards facing Grey Arrow and to lower the ceiling click on the downward-facing one.
4. Regardless of the direction selected, the Mover window will ask the user to confirm how far to move the ceiling. Enter the value required here and press OK to accept the changes.
