To design a space that looks like it has a lower floor, follow the steps below:
1. Go to Insert Browser and search for "staircase".
2. Add in one set of stairs.
3. Add in another set of stairs but set the height off floor as a minus number.
In this example, we will use one set of stairs with a height off floor (Position Z Value) as 1 and the second set of stairs at -999.
Note: You may need to rotate the stairs to get the desired look.
4. Delete the floor.
5. Click on the Insert tab, click the drop-down arrow under Auto Features and select Edit Graphic Fixtures.
6. Click on the Freehand button.
7. Choose Advanced Graphics as the catalogue and select *Box.
8. Draw in your floor around your stairs and walls by left clicking the snapping points.
9. Click through the next stage buttons and finish by clicking Complete.
When finished, the outline of the *box will show.
Note: Don't forget to make the height of the *box the height of your floor (maybe 1-3mm).
The end result could look like the below.
