Checking a Customer Out
The need to "check out" a customer will only arise if you work on a network-shared database and are planning on using 2020 Fusion on your computer while not connected to your companies internal network.
To check out a customer, follow these steps:
1. Expand the "Find Customer" menu and select Check Out Customer.
2. Highlight and then click OK on the customer you want to check out.
NOTE - You can hold CTRL on your keyboard to select multiple customers for checking out.
Working Offline
When launching your 2020 Fusion software offline (disconnected from the main the network), you will be prompted with a message stating "No master database is available, would you like to work offline?". Click OK to this message to continue working offline - you will now be able to work on a customer that had been previously "Checked Out."
Checking In your customer
To check in any customers that have been worked on while offline, please follow the steps below:
1. Expand the "Find Customer" menu and select Check In Customer.
2. Select and highlight the customer you want to check in.
