The Single Line Tool can be used to add walls, doors, windows or items.
To use the Single Line Tool, follow the steps below.
1. Within Plan View, go to the Catalogue Items palette and select the item you wish to add.
(For this example, I have selected WAS1CBR from the Windows Selector)
Set length / height off the floor / height etc; if required.
2. Select the Single Line Tool. (Shortcut Key CTRL + SHIFT + 9).
3. Left click on a wall to create a starting point and drag the mouse cursor across to adjust the length.
Left click again or press the Enter key to complete.
Alternatively, you can also set the attributes (e.g., length / height / height off the floor etc.) by simply typing the values once you have made the first left click.
To move to a different attribute, press the Tab key on your keyboard and type in a value. Press the Enter key to complete.
4. This will add the window (selected item) to the plan.
A few examples of items you can add using the Single Line tool are walls, base units, wall units, plinths, worktops, boxes, ceiling wedges, etc.
