Before you proceed:
Please begin by saving your design, or exporting it somewhere safe. Swapping one catalogue with another can cause unexpected results. Before doing any changes to your plan, we recommend that you use the duplicate feature before proceeding with the changes you’d like to make.
- Begin by adding the catalogue you’d like to switch to, to the design. You can do so by selecting the Home tab, and then Information.
- Once that is done, click on the Change button.
- The next window that comes up will look something like this:
- On the left side of this window are the current catalogues being used in your design. In the Target Catalogue section, choose the new catalogue that you’d like to swap the existing catalogue with. For example, if you’d like to change the catalogue from Nolte 2017 to Ballerina 2018, then you must click on the dropdown list that is next to Nolte 2017.
- The next window gives you an opportunity to change the default style details for each combination of source catalogue/style and target catalogue.
- The next window indicates the catalogues for which automatic replacements have been completely assigned. If you skipped the last window, there will be a red X under Success. It also allows you to specify those catalogues you wish to review in more detail.
- If you’ve chosen to review the pending changes that you have not yet completed, the next window will allow you to do so. While this might be more time consuming than simply having them removed, this method does allow you to make sure that everything is perfect.
If you chose not to review the changes, a window will appear to confirm which items are being removed from your design. Click Finish if you are comfortable with having to partially re-draw your design, with the new catalogue.
If successful, 2020 Fusion will automatically create a new design with your saved changes, and ask for a design name. You should now have a copy of your design before the changes, and after the changes.
