2020 Fusion 7.3.1.11 and Later
When adding a saved manual annotation to a design, 2020 Fusion is set by default to open the Options Dialog window.
As of 2020 Fusion 7.3.1.11, we have introduced the hidden preference to disable this window when adding a user saved annotation. When making any changes to the PPPrefs.ini, ensure that 2020 Fusion is closed as the changes will not save with the application running.
1. Click the Windows Start button.
2. Type DisplayFileLocator. This will automatically perform a search. Click File Locator once it appears in the list.
3. Single click on PPPrefs.ini in the list.
4. A folder will automatically open containing several .ini files. Open PPPrefs.ini.
5. Hold CTRL and F to launch search box and enter system.
6. Scroll to the bottom and add
[Customise]
SuppressAddUserAnnotationPrompt
7. Save and exit ppprefs.ini
8. Launch 2020 Fusion and now when adding a saved user annotation you will no longer see the dialog prompt and the annotation will be added in its saved format.
