To apply customized surface coverings to worktops, here are the steps to follow.
*These steps can only be performed in the planning renders (wireframe, white fill, colour fill and draft).
1. Select the worktop.
2. From the Perspective view, ensure to be in the Items tab.
3. Still within the Items tab, use the drop-down menu found in Settings and select Surface Cover.
4. Select the Insert tab and click on the Select Surface button.
5. Click on all the areas of the worktop that can be selected and need to be covered.
6. With the worktop still highlighted, return to the Insert tab in the ribbon.
7. Click on the drop-down arrow found in Coverings and select Item Surface.
8. Now within the Modify Surface Material pane, select a pattern and click on the Add button.
9. Select the desired material from the Modify Surface Material pane. Please note, selecting the Manage My Surface Materials button will bring up the option to import any image so it may be used as a surface covering. If importing an image, be sure to check-off Display my surface materials. Once you've selected a predefined material or an imported one, click OK.
10. After clicking OK, the surface material can be altered by adjusting the width, height and orientation.
11. Click on OK to apply the changes or Cancel to ignore them.
