How to import an image as surface material. How to use a custom image as wall coverings.
To import an image and use it as coverings on a wall, follow the steps below:
1. Select the wall you wish to add coverings to.
2. While the wall is still selected, go to Insert Coverings Standard Wall or Advanced Wall.
3. This will bring up the window below. Draw a zone by clicking on New drop down menu.
4. Once the zone has been drawn, click on Modify.
5. This will bring up the 'Modify Surface Material' window. Select the desired options from the drop down menus.
6. Make your selection from the list and click Add.
7. This will bring up the 'Modify Material Information' window. Click on Manage My Surface Materials.
8. This will bring up the 'User Images: Manage My Surface Materials' window.
Click on Import image(s): This Design to import image only for the current design or
Click on Import image(s): Any Design to import image for all designs.
9. Select the image saved on your computer and click Open.
10. This will add the selected file to the User Image List. Click OK to continue.
11. Select the imported image from the 'Modify Material Information' window and and click OK.
[Note: If you do not see the imported image in the 'Modify Material Information' window, ensure 'Display my surface materials' has been enabled]
12. You should now see the 'Modify Surface Material' window. Amend the width, height and orientation according to your requirements and click OK.
13. This will show a preview of the coverings. Click on Confirm to apply the material as coverings.
[Note: If you wish to modify the coverings, click on Modify.]
14. This will apply the custom image as a covering material on the selected wall.
