When launching the Fusion application, there may be a time where you receive the error message No Fusion License Present so unable to start application.
This could be caused by multiple reasons:
• The Fusion USB dongle is not plugged into your computer
• Faulty USB Port
• No Dongle Drivers are installed
• Issue with the Fusion dongle itself
To resolve this issue there are a few steps you will need to take:
1. Verify that your Fusion dongle is correctly inserted into the computers USB port.
2. Insert your Fusion dongle into a different USB port.
3. Please reinstall the Fusion dongle drivers. The dongle driver can be located in the Fusion application directory (C:\Program Files\Fusion). Locate and run the Sentinel Protection Installer 7.6.6.exe.
Please follow this installer wizard by clicking next. If you already have the drivers installed, you will see the screen below. Select repair.
Click Next and follow the installation instructions. It could be that you have no dongle drivers installed, if this is the case the sentinel installer will look slightly different to start with.
You will be presented with the License Agreement window and must accept it in order to proceed to the next stage.
You will now be prompted to select a set up type, as shown below. Select the Complete option and then click next to proceed.
The next stage will ask you to proceed with the installation, please select Install.
You may receive an important note referring to a windows Firewall being detected. Please select Yes to continue.
The installation will now start, once it has completed, please select Finish and reboot your computer.
If all the steps above fail, and you still receive the error No Fusion License present so unable to start application, there may be an issue with your Fusion dongle.
Please contact the Fusion support team for further investigation.
