Is it possible to export an image of a design from 2020 Fusion? To export an image from 2020 Fusion follow these steps:
1. When in a plan, first decide which render and viewpoint needs to be exported.
2. Click on the File menu in the ribbon.
2. Click on Export.
Please note: It is possible to export an image from 2020 Fusion as various format types. For instance, as a PNG, BMP, JPEG etc. This example below shows how to export as a BMP. The desired image format type can be selected from the Export menu by selecting from the available list.
4. By default, Export to BMP is highlighted so the BMP Settings will be open. From here the size of the image may be altered by adjusting the Width and Height, if needed. Choosing the render type is done by using the drop-down menu from Render Setting.
5. If there are any Named Views to include, simply select them by checking-off the appropriate ones. If not, proceed to the next step.
6. As well, the Info Block, Border and Unit List/Key may also be included by checking-off the boxes.
7. Clicking on Export will then prompt the user to rename the image and save it. Keep in mind that if using a high-quality render this may take some time and 2020 Fusion may not be used until the image is created. It is recommended to click on Background Export if using Presentation, Presentation Plus or Publish in order to avoid being interrupted with designing. Background Export will also create the image, as the name suggests, in the background while allowing to work in 2020 Fusion simultaneously.
