How to Change the Item Description in 2020 Fusion

If you'd like to change the description of an item, follow the steps below:

1. Within a design, select the item. You may need to right click it to select just the one item, especially if some items are close together.






2. In the bottom-right of 2020 Fusion, along the bar, double-click the item's description.




3. In the box that appears, you have the option to change the description text. Simply overwrite what is in the description box.




Note that you can opt to edit both the shorter 'Recommended' text or the 'Long' text.






4. Click OK when you have entered your text.

The description will now have changed.





You can change the description within the 'Item List' too. However, this requires text to be added to your ppprefs.

Under the [item list] heading, add the following text line:

DoubleClickEditDescription = "1"  

5. With this preference added, you can double click the description in the item list to edit the text.
