In 2020 Fusion it is possible to switch an item/unit from the default attribute to another. For example, a base unit can be switched to use the attributes associated with a wall unit, or vice versa. To achieve this or a similar attribute change, follow these steps.
NB: Please note, some items/units or catalogues will not have the possibility to have the default attributes changed.
1. When in a 2020 Fusion design, select the desired item wished to be altered.
2. Select the Home tab from the ribbon.
3. Select Settings from the Home menu to access the drop-down list.
4. Access the Attributes From Templates option from the Settings drop-down list.
5. When selected, the available options that can be attributed to the item/unit are shown. The Default attribute should automatically be selected as shown below. Selecting any of the other available attributes will switch it.
Example: If the Default of the selected unit was a Wall Unit and the user switches the attribute to be that of a Base Unit, it will now be possible to add plinths or worktops to the unit.
