Live Share is an innovative way of allowing a 2020 Fusion Live designer to interact remotely with their customers. They can instantly and easily share images of the design via a web link. When a design is open in 2020 Fusion Live, one click will allow for the displayed graphical view (plan, elevation or perspective) to be uploaded to a dedicated web page.
To use Live Share:
1. Decide what view needs to be shared with the viewer (customer, fellow designer, etc.)
2. From the View menu of the ribbon, click on Live Share.
3. A new window named Image Upload will pop up with two possible choices:
- Open Web Page will open the page on your computer, displaying exactly what the viewer will see.
- Copy Shared Address will copy the URL that can be sent to the viewer to see.
Clicking OK will simply close the Image Upload window.
Once the viewer has access to the URL to see the shared content, the designer can refresh or change the image accordingly while the viewer can almost immediately see the change. If a designer makes any change to the shared image, the viewer simply needs to refresh their page with the live content on it.
